Dr. Reis is originally from St. Louis, Missouri where he went to medical school at Saint Louis University. He then joined the US Air Force where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine in San Antonio, Texas, followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Navy hospital in San Diego, California. Dr. Reis served as a Associate Professor of Medicine at San Antonio Military Medical Center for five years in the Pulmonary/Critical Care department prior to separating from the Air Force and joining the Pensacola Lung Group in 2020. Dr. Reis is has a passion for lung cancer management and is credentialed to perform almost all forms of advanced bronchoscopic techniques. He also is the medical director of the ECMO program as Ascension Sacred Heart.
When not working, Dr. Reis enjoys spending time with his wife, Starr, and 4 children. He enjoyes vacationing and hiking at National Parks and participates in several car clubs/shows throughout the year in additional to multiple track events.
